This Week In Utah: Zoo Lights

When you say "Christmas lights" in the Salt Lake Valley everyone thinks of the lights at Temple Square. While those lights should not be missed there is another set of lights just up the street from there - at the Hogle Zoo! Every Christmas the zoo gets dressed up and puts up over a million lights.

We have gone the past few years and it is great - and cold. This is a time to forgot about looking good and instead worry about staying warm! You can enjoy the lights, the animals and some hot kettle corn. It was a cold night when we ventured out but we had a great time and even took a turn on the merry-go-round. Absolutely worth braving the cold and the ticket price, which is between $3-$6. Take note, every Thursday in December tickets are only $3! You can get all the details here.
