1968 Parade of Homes . . .

In light of the recent announcement of Pantone's color of the year, Emerald, I was thrilled when I found this new listing of a 1968 Parade of Homes home. When I was growing up in Murray there was a red brick home that had pillars like this and I remember thinking it was so "Gone with the Wind" fancy!

This home, in Cottonwood Heights, was a home in the 1968 Parade of Homes and it looks to be in almost original condition. The home was just listed for sale. Check out the green in the kitchen, not quite the emerald of 2013 but close!

I love that the agent on this listing even included a copy of the original Parade of Homes flyer. You could own this great piece of history, in a great area, listed at only $210,000!

(January 5th Update: This property is now under contract - after only 19 days on the market!)
